Triangle Beagle Rescue of North Carolina is a non-profit 501(c)(3) rescue group launched in 2000. TBR is an all volunteer organization that receives over a thousand requests per year to help beagles who are in animal shelters, poor living conditions, or whose owners just don’t want them anymore.

TBR has no shelter facility and operates exclusively through a network of 40-45 foster homes, depending on its dedicated team of volunteers to provide temporary, stable, loving, and nurturing environments for homeless beagles. We are always in need of foster homes, so please contact us if you have room in your heart and home for a homeless beagle.

TBR relies heavily on financial support from beagle lovers across NC to fund the costs of veterinary care for our beagles, which can vary widely from routine vaccinations, microchipping, heartworm treatment and spay/neuter services to advanced neurological testing and other comprehensive medical services. TBR just spent over $5,000 on surgeries for April, a beagle with a herniated lumbar disk, and Lulu, a beagle who came in with a broken leg.

TBR receives no public assistance. All of its operating costs come from adoption fees, fundraising efforts and the support of generous beagle lovers. As a non-profit organization registered with the State of NC, all donations and financial contributions are tax deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law.

TBR hosts two adoptathons per month – one at the Petsmart in Durham (3615 Witherspoon Boulevard) on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., and the other on the 4th Sunday of each month from 2-4 p.m. at Animall in Cary Towne Center (1105 Walnut Street).
