CareFirst Animal Hospitals are active in many community service projects such as:
Our network hospitals contribute hundreds of hours of direct veterinary services to these organizations annually. We believe that we have an obligation to provide care for great pets that are in need of good owners. In addition, CareFirst makes monetary donations to selected organizations that support the vision and the values of the network hospitals.
We are also involved in mentoring veterinary students in routine practice of medical care and general surgery.
CareFirst Animal Hospitals’ commitment to our community extends beyond veterinary care. We are supporters of the North Carolina Food Bank program, as well as sponsoring families in need throughout the year.
Our practice also hosts The Healthy Pet Show, an interactive, community service show airing Mondays at 7:00 p.m. on Channel 10 Raleigh Cable. Viewers are able to call in and have their questions answered on live TV.
CareFirst Animal Hospital was honored to be selected as the SPCA Volunteer Organization of the Year. We look forward to continuing to be of service to such an outstanding organization, and we cherish the wonderful memories of service provided to the SPCA for the past 20 years.
