Dr. Dietrich

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Danielle Dietrich joined Care First Animal Hospital in 2025 after earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. While this is her first role as a veterinarian, Dr. Dietrich brings with her nearly eight years of hands-on experience working as a veterinary assistant and technician in small animal practices throughout college and veterinary school.

Dr. Dietrich has always known she wanted to pursue a career in medicine. During college, her lifelong love of dogs and cats drew her to veterinary medicine, where she quickly discovered her passion for providing compassionate care to both pets and their families. She especially enjoys client education and takes pride in helping pet owners better understand their companions’ health and well-being.

Her previous experience includes positions at Animal Medical Care of CT, VCA Wakefield, and VCA Westborough, where she gained valuable skills in patient care, diagnostics, and client communication. She is also Fear Free Certified (since 2021), as well as Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support certified (since 2023).

When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Dietrich enjoys staying active and competitive—whether through sports, board games, or her current favorite, tennis. She also loves making homemade candles, tending to her patio herb garden, and cheering on all her favorite New England sports teams. Go Pats, Go Sox!

Dr. Dietrich is thrilled to be a part of the Care First team and looks forward to building lasting relationships with pets and their families.
