Veterinarian
Hi, my name is Dr. Rossics, and I am a DVM at Care First Animal Hospital. I am passionate about providing high-quality care and helping my patients feel comfortable and confident in their treatment.
Personal Hobbies and Interests
Outside of work, you will find me deep in a fantasy novel, out on a hiking trail, playing field hockey, or gaming. My hiking partner is Shadow, my nine-year-old lab-hound mix rescue. Adopting her in 2018 means she has been with me through college, veterinary school, and my move here for work, and she loves chasing squirrels, hitting the trails, and, most importantly, sleeping in bed.
Education
My undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science with a pre-veterinary focus, earned at Auburn University from 2019 to 2022. From there, I attended Louisiana State University, graduating with my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2026.
Work History
Before veterinary school, my time was spent as a veterinary assistant at Branchville Animal Hospital, a mixed animal general practice, from 2021 to 2022. During veterinary school, I returned to assisting at North Shelby Animal Hospital, a small animal general practice, from 2024 to 2025.
