Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Tori Consol, an Associate Veterinarian at Care First Animal Hospital, brings a wealth of passion and dedication to her role. Since joining the practice in 2020, straight out of veterinary school, Tori has become an integral part of the Care First team.
Tori's journey into veterinary medicine began with a childhood dream fueled by a deep love for animals. After losing her first kitten at the tender age of 8, she declared to her parents her unwavering commitment to becoming a veterinarian. This commitment has defined her path ever since.
A graduate of the University of Glasgow, Tori completed her Veterinary Medicine & Surgery degree in 2020, earning the esteemed BVMS qualification. Her academic journey laid the foundation for her exceptional career in veterinary care.
Tori's professional history is also deeply rooted in Care First Animal Hospital, where she served as an ACT (Animal Care Technician) and CST (Customer Service Technician) from 2013 to 2015. Her early experiences in the field allowed her to develop a comprehensive understanding of veterinary care, setting the stage for her future success.
What Tori loves most about her job is the diversity it brings. Every day is a new adventure, allowing her to connect with different people and their beloved pets. Her specific interests lie in ophthalmology, surgery, and geriatric care for pets. She is continually fascinated by the ever-evolving nature of veterinary medicine and the constant learning opportunities it provides.
Outside of work, Tori engages in various hobbies and interests, including yoga, hiking, wakesurfing, and a general love for outdoor activities. She also enjoys culinary pursuits, exploring new restaurants, and, most importantly, spending quality time with her own animals.
In 2023, Tori earned certification in Ophthalmology through VetGirl, showcasing her commitment to continuous learning and excellence in her field. This additional qualification highlights her dedication to providing the best possible care for her furry patients.
