Get Started With Care First’s Doggy Daycare

Here’s what you need to know!

At Care First, we want to ensure each and every pup has a fun and safe experience at our doggy day camp. Our animal care technicians are well equipped to make sure we’re giving your pet the best time at day care possible. Read below and see what kinds of prerequisites we ask of each owner and feel free to reach out with any questions!

Requirements

For your furry friend to attend Doggy day camp, they must be up to date on their:

  • Rabies vaccine
  • Distemper vaccine
  • Annual fecal exam
  • Bordetella vaccine

It’s also important to note that your pup needs to be free of external parasites. For day camp, all dogs must be spayed or neutered by 9 months of age. However, if you decide to board, your dog doesn’t have to be spayed or neutered.

Making a Reservation

We welcome dogs of all ages and breeds, so if your pup wants an opportunity to play all day, doggy day care is the perfect option. To make your reservation, give one of our three locations a call and we’ll save your spot. If you don’t have time to contact us, we happily take walk-ins on days we aren’t too busy!

FAQs

Does my dog need to wear a collar? Is there a particular kind of collar?

No collar is needed. In fact, they don’t wear collars in the kennels for safety purposes. We make them printed-out collars to wear while they stay with us that are kennel-safe.

What should I do to prepare my dog?

Nothing in particular! However, if the dog is nervous or has any other medical issues, be sure to make us aware of them. Make sure they are up to date on all services or we can update everything while they stay with us.
